Who We Are
Kibra United is a community soccer club in Kibra, Nairobi established in 2012 by some of the now-retired professional footballers from Kibra with the aim of transforming the lives of youth through football. Over the years, the Club which currently participates in the FKF National Division One league, has brought about significant changes in the lives of countless youths from Kibra and beyond. This can be seen in the remarkable number of players handpicked to join the premier league and national teams, not only in Kenya but also in countries such as South Sudan, Somalia, and most recently Tanzania.
In addition to football, the Club has successfully incorporated mentorship, empowerment and awareness programs into its activities to address critical issues affecting today’s youth from combating crime, drug and substance abuse to promoting environmental conservation and battling climate change. The Club is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people in Kibra and beyond.
